MURALS

I have had the opportunity to work as an 1001 Colors (now previously Artworks) apprentice for 3 years and done 2 different murals.

Both of the murals I have done for 1001 Colors are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, in Rookwood Commons. I learned how to create a large piece of work with multiple other individuals, and I learned how to make art on a different material than I was used to and in the elements.

For my most recent mural, I was commissioned by my high school (St.Xavier High School) and their environmental action club, to create a mural on the shipping container in which they keep their materials and tools.This was completely different than what I had normally done for murals because it was only me and my friend I had asked to help, and the material that I was painting on was completely different (metal).

This project took around 7 months to complete with working every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday over 2 summers. And like previously stated it was only me and my friend Liam Thaman-Raines.
